JSkat for Linux : An Open Source and platform-independent implementation of the German Skat card game
JSkat is an open source, non-profit, totally free and multi-platform software project written in the Java programming language and designed as an implementation of a popular and traditional German card game called Skat. The application allows you to play the game according to the official rules or to create your own. Key features include online play, based on the official rules of the International Skat Players Association (ISPA-World), support for the suit, null and grand game modes, support for the Kontra, Bock and Ramsch rules, support for multiple languages, including English and German, three AI Skat players, including AIPlayerMJL, AIPlayerJS and AIPlayerRND, as well as cheat and debug modes. Being written entirely in the Java programming language, JSkat can be played on any operating system where the Java Runtime Environment from Oracle is available and installed, including GNU/Linux (Packman RPM and Arch Linux builds are officially available), BSD, Solaris, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. Both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures are supported at this time.
