mkgmap 2468 Description:
mkgmap for Linux : An Open Street Map to Garmin format converter
Mkgmap is a converter that takes map data from the Open Street Map project and outputs img files that can be used in Garmin GPS devices. The program does not send the created maps to the GPS unit. This can be done with another program such as sendmap or qlandkarte. If your GPS device has a removable SD card, then you can just create a gmapsupp.img file and copy it to the cards in the Garmin directory.
