Klish stands for Kommand Line Interface Shell and it’s an open source, portable and free command-line software, a framework for implementing a CISCO-like CLI on UNIX-like operating systems, including all GNU/Linux platform. It is a fork of the clish application. The software is highly configurable through XML files, and provides a long list of attractive features, including namespaces or logically nested views, support for optional arguments, support for subcommands, and support for switching subcommands.
