RCP100 is an open source and modular router control plane for GNU/Linux operating systems, designed to be used as a standalone router, or deployed as an embedded router in a virtualized environment. Its modular architecture allows for rapid implementation of new capabilities and improvements, including support for third-party hardware components. Key features include an industry standard command-line interface, Telnet, TFTP and FTP access, a NTP server and client, a DHCP relay, a DNS proxy cache, static routes, static ARP, blackhole routes, proxy ARP, Access Control Lists, SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) version 1, 2c and 3, RIP version 2 (RFC 2453, RFC 2082), and OSPF version 2 (RFC 2328).
