STK/Unit is an open source command-line SQL testing framework, especially designed to work with the MySQL and MariaDB databases. It stores the output in internal tables. With STK/Unit users will be able to create Base Tests (Stored Procedures), which are part of Test Cases (databases), as well as Test Suites (other Stored Procedures). It was inspired by JUnit and SimpleTest. The software will record output in MariaDB database tables, which can be later retrieved as HTML or human-readable text. There are high-level assertions which are specifically designed for SQL databases.
