Belle is a open-source, cross-platform and freely distributed software project that aims to deliver a user-friendly visual novel maker application for GNU/Linux users. It can also be used to create 2D games. With Belle, you will be able to create basic or complex visual novels that contain characters, dialog, scenes, navigation, and various other elements. It boasts an easy-to-use GUI that is composed of six modules: Actions, Resources, Scenes, Characters, Properties, Pause Screen, and Action Catalog. Each newly create project will have a name and you can set the screen size, font and text speed. In addition, it is possible to use a built-in web browser. Projects can be saved locally or easily exported to another application.
