The Daily Journal 4-0.1 Description:
The Daily Journal is an open source and free software project, a graphical application that allows you to keep a personal diary in digital format, on your desktop computer or laptop. It is a PIM (Product Information Management) program independent from a specific GNU/Linux operating system or desktop environment. Key features include the ability to manage daily notes, to-do lists, contacts, addresses, appointments, holidays and alarms to upcoming events, built-in tracking functionality of your daily activity, built-in search functionality, built-in calendar, as well as an easy-to-use and straightforward graphical user interface. The graphical user interface (GUI) of this application is dead simple, as it provides users with all the information they need in a single window, using tabs. At a first glance, you will see a calendar on the left side of the window, the multiple views (tabs) on the right side of the window and a multi-functional area under the calendar, which changes depending on the current view mode.
