Pioneers project is an open source graphical software written in GTK+ and designed as a clone of the "Settlers of Catan" board game, which can be played over the internet. Pioneers follows the rules of the Settlers of Catan award winning game, created by Klaus Teuber, as closely as possible. Users are able to play the game with up to 8 players over the Internet. Pioneers includes an AI, server-client multiplayer, support for the Seafarers of Catan expansion, as well as the default boards of the Settlers of Catan game.
