Kronometer is an open source and very simple software project designed from the offset to act as a chronometer or stopwatch application for the KDE Software Compilation graphical desktop environment on Linux kernel-based operating systems. Key features include a stopwatch widget that supports start, pause and resume functionality, lap recording functionality so you can record the stopwatch time whenever you want, sorting of lap times functionality so you can easily find the longest or shortest lap times, as well as reset functionality for both the stopwatch and the recorded lap times. In addition, the application allows the user to choose the correct time format for the stopwatch, save the current status of the stopwatch, in order to resume it at a later time, as well as to export recorder lap times to a file in the CSV (Comma-Separated Values) or XML (Extensible Markup Language) formats.
