Gloobus Preview is an open source and free software project implemented in C++ as a GNOME-based desktop utility for quickly previewing files in full screen, inspired by Apple’s Quicklook application. It’s an extension for the GNOME desktop environment. The project has been designed in such a way that it can enable a full screen preview of the most common files used by any Linux users on a regular basis. It is extremely easy to use, as you will only have to press the Space key on a selected file to view it full screen. At the moment, it supports plain text files, folders, source code (Java, PHP, C++, SH, Python), image files (JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, ICNS, PSD, XCF), music files (MP3, MP4, WAV, OGG, MIDI), documents (DOC, PDF, ODP, PPT, XLS, ODF, CBZ, CBR), and video files (AVI, MKV, OGG, FLV, WVM).
