AsciiDoc  8.6.9 Description:

AsciiDoc for Linux : A CLI tool for writing man pages, books, articles and short documents on Linux/UNIX

AsciiDoc is an open source, cross-platform and free command-line utility implemented in Python as a text document format, which can be used by anyone who wants to write manual pages, articles, short documents, and books for their GNU/Linux operating systems. The files generated with the AsciiDoc software can be translated to HTML (HyperText Markup Language), XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language) and DocBook markups, simply by using the ‘asciidoc’ command-line tool (see the getting started section below for details). Because the software uses no weird format notations or markup tags, users will be able to write AsciiDoc documents the same way they would write a normal text document in a Word-like application
