queXF is a completely free, platform-independent and open source web-based application implemented in PHP and crafted to perfection as a tool for capturing and reading scanned paper forms that are generated by the queXML software. In other words, queXF is a CADE (Computer Assisted Data Entry) utility that is capable of processing filled paper forms, including survey questionnaires, generated by queXML. It is designed as an alternative to the Remark OMR and Cardiff Teleform programs. Key features include support for an unlimited number of operators that can be used for verification, support for importing queXMLPDF forms that have been generated by the Limesurvey application, the ability to accurately guess and automatically detect boxes’ locations on the form without manually overlaying boxes, as well as distributed processing support.
