pciutils is an open source and freely distributed command-line software, a collection of two utilities that can be used to list PCI devices from your computer, set the configuration registers of PCI devices, as well as to inspect their status. In other words, the pciutils project is comprised of the lspci tool for listing PCI devices, the setpci program for configuring and querying PCI devices, the update-pciids utility for fetching the PCI ID list, and a PCI subsystem access library for applications (libpci.so). An example is also provided in the package.
